While coexistence can be enforced and achieved through political proceedings and laws—it is shaped just as powerfully and legitimately through community and individual action. The release of HIM (2025) brings forward a much needed conversation regarding celebrity and sports culture. Namely the pipeline that young Black boys are often funnelled into, in hopes of becoming "The GOAT," a system that echoes the same cycles of exploitation and bondage seen in slavery.
