Across Boundaries

Across Boundaries provides equitable, inclusive and holistic mental health and addiction services for racialized people across the Greater Toronto Area. Across Boundaries acknowledges the impact of racism and anti-Black-racism on mental health.



Agence Ometz

Agence Ometz is a Jewish human services agency offering social, employment and immigration services to help people fulfill their potential and to secure the growth and vibrancy of the Montreal community. Reaching more than 13,000 people annually, they provide intervention, prevention, support services and programs to enhance quality of life.



Be My Eyes

Be My Eyes is a free mobile app with one main goal: to make the world more accessible for blind and low-vision people. The app connects blind and low-vision individuals with sighted volunteers and companies from all over the world through a live video call.



The Black Accessibility Knowledge (BLAcK) Hub

The Black Accessibility Knowledge (BLAcK) Hub is a confidential, fully accessible, and free resource for Black people with disabilities of all ages, their families, caregivers and support networks. Black people with disabilities informed and designed the Hub to bridge the structural gaps and address systemic barriers in accessing Black-focused disability resources, services, and knowledge at the intersection of Blackness, disability and gender.



Black Class Action

A class action lawsuit has been filed in the Federal Court of Canada on behalf of Black Canadians. The lawsuit is seeking long-term solutions to permanently address systemic racism and discrimination in the Public Service of Canada.



Black Youth Helpline

Black Youth Helpline multicultural Helpline & Services for Children, Youth, Families, School Boards & other youth serving organizations. BYH serves all youth and responds to the need for a Black youth specific service, positioned and resourced to promote access to professional, culturally appropriate support for youth, families and schools. Evaluation Capacity Network

Evaluation Capacity Network is a network of community partners, practitioners, researchers, and funders who serve the early childhood community through community-driven, culturally responsive, action oriented and equity-based evaluation capacity building opportunities, activities, and resources.

Jumpstart Refugee Talent is a refugee led non-profit organization and the only national organization exclusively serving refugees seeking meaningful economic inclusion.



Legal Help - Access Pro Bono

Access Pro Bono is a small independent organization that operates a free lawyer referral service and several pro bono programs serving the critical legal needs of people and non-profit organizations across BC.



Life Literacy Canada

ABC Life Literacy Canada is a non-profit organization that aims to strengthen organizations that promote adult learning. They offer a variety of free programs and resources for community learning organizations. Their programs touch on all areas of literacy, from family and workplace literacy to financial and digital literacy.



On Site Placement

This organization provide employment opportunities for individuals, by matching their skills and abilities with the staffing needs of corporate, not for profit organizations and government employment partners and offering relevant training programs to build confidence and self-esteem for long term success and economic benefits to the community.



Peer Support Space

They help anybody 18+ while focusing on catching individuals that are historically underserved, forcefully marginalized, and fall through the cracks of the mental health system. They are located in Central Florida but welcome anybody, living anywhere, to their virtual spaces.



Pro Bono Legal Help

Pro Bono Law Alberta (PBLA) is a nonprofit charitable organization that promotes access to justice in Alberta by creating and promoting opportunities for lawyers to provide pro bono (free) legal services to persons of limited means.



Project 10

Project 10 works to promote the personal, social, sexual and mental well being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, two-spirit, intersex and questioning (2LGBTQ+) youth and adults 14-25.



ProLiteracy Worldwide

ProLiteracy operates around the globe to provide adult literacy instruction to those who would not otherwise have access to basic education. It partners with local libraries, human rights agencies, and health organizations to help provide these programs. You can get involved by becoming a volunteer or donating money to help support their cause.



Ribbon Rouge

The Ribbon Rouge Foundation serves African, Caribbean and Black people in Alberta, by facilitating systems change, in structural and social factors that lead to poorer health outcomes, including HIV related health outcomes in African, Caribbean, Black communities.



Saskatchewan Mental Health and Addiction Services

This site has a wide range of services, supports, and education materials available to assist people who are struggling with mental health and addiction issues in Saskatchewan.



Sexual Assault Services of Saskatchewan

SASS is a provincial non-profit organization that works collectively with front-line agencies, community partners, and governments that provide support and advocacy for those affected by sexual violence in Saskatchewan.



Sidelines

Sidelines is for women all over the world to reach out to others to help in the critical time of dealing with a high risk pregnancy. Through the internet, they were able to serve more patients and match volunteers more efficiently. Email support is almost used more than phone support, and they are the very first non-profit with this intent to provide support via email worldwide.

A website where newcomers can find answers to common questions about living in Ontario and Canada in general.



Toronto Police Brutality Lawyer

Edson Legal provides access to police brutality lawyers in the GTA/. An experienced lawyer from our team will assist you in filing your police brutality case in Canada. They will present a report showing how the police mishandled you to prove your case in court.



UP Skills for Work

UP Skills for Work helps Canadian learners develop key employability and life skills through free workshops and downloadable workbooks. Some topics include: Motivation, Attitude, Accountability, Presentation, Time Management, Adaptability, Stress Management, and Confidence.



Volunteer Bénévoles Yukon

They match individuals to volunteer opportunities. They help non-profits find volunteers and provide training and resources to individuals and organizations. The Youth On Board program will help youth receive training and find a full-time paid job in the not-for-profit sector.
