Oxfam-Quebec is a non-profit and non-partisan organization which strives to strengthen its partners and allies to fight poverty and injustice.



Rental Assistance Program (RAP)

This program targets low-income working families in BC by providing them with financial assistance based on their income, employment status, and amount of children.



Rent Supplement

This program gives low-income households access to housing that’s either part of the private rental market or owned by housing cooperatives or non-profit organizations. Tenants pay rent equal to 25% of their income.



Saskatchewan: The Homeless Hub

The Homeless Hub is a library of over 30,000 resources. They have community profiles for every province, including Saskatchewan. On these profiles are statistics about the province's poverty and homelessness, as well as community resources.



The Alberta Council for Global Cooperation

ACG works toward ending poverty and achieving a peaceful and healthy world, with dignity and full participation for all.



The Affordable Home Ownership Program (AHOP)

A program providing up to $50,000 in loans to qualifying Canadian Aboriginal people to assist in the purchase of a home off-reserve in the GTA.



True North Aid

True North Aid is dedicated to serving and supporting northern and remote Indigenous communities in Canada through practical humanitarian support. With more than 60% of Indigenous children living below the poverty line, there is much work to be done. The issue facing Indigenous communities in Canada are complex.
