The United Nations has developed 17 sustainable development goals to achieve a better future for all. Some of them are as follows: No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Clean Water & Sanitation, and Climate Action.

Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services

Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services provides services and addresses systemic inequities to improve health outcomes for the most vulnerable immigrants, refugees, and their communities. Programs and Services include primary care, food programs, community programs, The Green Access Program, LGBTQ+ programs, and settlement services.



Adolescent Data Portal

The Adolescent Data Portal features a focused selection of key indicators on Health and Nutrition, Education and Learning, Protection, and Transition to Work.



Amnesty International

Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 10 million people who take injustice personally. They are campaigning for a world where human rights are enjoyed by all.



BC Refugee Hub Resource Centre

The BC Refugee Hub works in partnership with the BC government to provide refugees with a one-stop hub for all information and resources available to better support refugees residing in BC.

The BC Refugee Hub is easy to navigate and browse, filled with a variety of information on programs, services and publications related to refugees in British Columbia.



Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan

Canadians are taking action, in partnership with Afghan women, toward improving conditions of human rights, ending women’s oppression, and providing opportunities for Afghan women to live their lives with dignity, certainty and purpose.

Genocide Watch

Genocide Watch exists to predict, prevent, stop, and punish genocide and other forms of mass murder. They seek to raise awareness and influence public policy concerning potential and actual genocide. Their purpose is to build an international movement to prevent and stop genocide.


Global Goals

The Global Goals are 17 UN-agreed targets to end poverty, reduce inequality, and address climate change by 2030, driving action at global and regional levels to accelerate sustainable development worldwide.



Global Hive

The Global Hive Toolkit is designed to assist the efforts of public engagement practitioners working in Canada: NGO staff, volunteers, international development workers, teachers, youth, campaigners, activists, artists, policy makers – in short, everyone who works to engage others on global issues.



Global Majority; Decolonizing the Language and Reframing the Conversation about Race

Global Majority is a collective term that first and foremost speaks to and encourages those so-called to think of themselves as belonging to the global majority. It refers to people who are Black, Asian, Brown, dual-heritage, indigenous to the global south, and or have been racialized as 'ethnic minorities'.

Multicultural Association of Fredericton

MCAF aids in the settlement of newcomers and immigrants by offering programs and services that promote diversity and inclusion. These programs and services address everything from language services to resettlement.



ProLiteracy Worldwide

ProLiteracy operates around the globe to provide adult literacy instruction to those who would not otherwise have access to basic education.



Rainbow Railroad

Rainbow Railroad is a humanitarian and crisis support organization, based in Canada and the USA. One of their main priorities is the safe relocation of 2SLGBTQI+ individuals facing state-sponsored violence and severe oppression. They also offer a variety of support and protection programs to individuals worldwide.



The Alberta Council for Global Cooperation

The Alberta Council for Global Cooperation (ACGC) is a provincial network that supports organizations and individuals working to end poverty and advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals.



Together Alberta

Together Alberta is a regional storytelling platform that highlights how Albertans and Alberta-based organizations are advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals locally and globally.

VIDEA is a Victoria-based nonprofit advancing global poverty reduction and social, gender, and climate justice by empowering youth and communities to lead locally and globally.

The World Bank Group is one of the world’s largest sources of funding and knowledge for developing countries. Its five institutions share a commitment to reducing poverty, increasing shared prosperity, and promoting sustainable development.

The World's Largest Lesson promotes use of the Sustainable Development Goals in learning so that children can contribute to a better future for all.



Zooniverse

The Zooniverse is the world’s largest and most popular platform for people-powered research. This research is made possible by volunteers — more than a million people around the world who come together to assist professional researchers. Zooniverse research results in new discoveries, datasets useful to the wider research community, and many publications. You don’t need any specialised background, training, or expertise to participate in any Zooniverse projects.
