At Canada Confesses, we empower marginalized populations to safely share their experiences with injustice while fostering sustainable action toward a more equitable future.
COVID-19 Pandemic
Motivated us to mobilize Canadians online in response to growing apathy, misinformation, and a lack of public awareness of social injustices in Canada.
February 2021
Two Black Undergrad students met in October 2020 at On-Site Placement’s Youth Program. They envisioned a platform that could connect and amplify changemakers. Canada Confesses launched on February 19, 2021.
August 2021
Through ACGC’s SDG Hub program, Canada Confesses began connecting its work to sustainability. We received funding and resources to develop the project, which is expanding to achieve our mission.

We are committed to creating a more just and equitable society in Canada. Our initiatives are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, including reducing inequalities, promoting peace and justice, and fostering partnerships for collective action.
